Finally finished it; it was an interesting satire but not one of my Twain favorites.

Glad to hear you finished, bentley! I had a feeling it might not get better in your estimation as it went along. Still, you've checked another book off the list, which is nearly always a good thing!

It wasn't my favorite Twain thought I am a big fan of his. I think anyone could tell where this was going from the first 10 chapters (not much new in terms of political statements after that). Seeing that it was a political treatise on a variety of themes I am surprised that you did not get much interaction.

I just decided to finish the reading on my own. It wasn't horrible; just a different format. Happy holidays to you as well.
