Does Rise and Shine have a happy ending? What new directions and challenges face the Fitzmaurice sisters, Leo, Irving, and the others?

When i was reading the last couple chapters, I felt the end coming, and not in the sense that there was no more book left. It was more like the end of a period in their lives, and the beginning of something new and just as cool. Bridget's life has lead her to a family and a job that she loves. For Meghan, it was new happiness with Edward and a show done her way or no way. I could almost see the fade outs and the city skyline standing out as shadows against the sunset. I believe Quindlen did an amazing job giving closure to something that was only just beginning.
It was a pleasure to read and a story I will be reminded of again when I visit New York for the first time! The NCTE convention is in New York this year!
