Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

April at Fiction discover the muse behind the man with Claude and Camille by Stephanie Cowell

[ Edited ]

Claude & Camille

It may be the Ides of March today, but April showers are not that far off just enough time to get the book and escape to a time when the world gave us the man who created such beauty in his paintings:

Monday April 2nd begins the monthlong discussion of one of the great love stories and the muse behind the man Claude Monet.

The author Stephanie Cowell is excited to be joining us for the entire month to add to the conversation.

So if you've ever wondered where Monet got his inspirations from, if you've ever wanted to know just a little bit more about one of the world's most prolific artist, if you've ever wanted to know about the woman behind the man, please join us in April for our featured read Claude and Camille and your questions will be answered.

Here's the reading schedule

The Book is in seven parts:

Week one April 2-8 Parts 1 & 2 (through page 105)

Week two April 9-15 Parts 3 & 4 (through page 216)

Week three April 16-22 Parts 5 thru 7 (219-330)

So please join us as we journey back in time, to the very birth of the Impressionist movement, to the streets of Paris in 1865.

You'll be so glad you did
