Jane Austen has been a frequent flyer at Literature by Women - we've discussed all six of her major novels over the years. This May we will take a look at some of her minor works, those smaller fragments of novels as well as her juvenilia.
Examples are:
Catharine, Northanger Abbey, Lady Susan, The Watsons, Sanditon (not Northanger, but the others
), Love and Freindship and Other Early Works (Barnes & Noble Library of Essential Reading) , and The History of England (which, if you can find it, is a lovely fascimile edition).
We'll be starting May 7 - grab your favorite editions and kick back with Miss Austen.

I read and knit and dance. Compulsively feel yarn. Consume books. Darn tights. Drink too much caffiene. All that good stuff.
