I had to laugh at the scene where Joseph comes upon the two skeletons sexually intertwined in the laboratory! It seems to me that The Egyptologist contained some subtle humor like this. Maybe something with the cat? I can't quite remember.

Did anyone else find any humorous passages in the book?
