Glee

Ok, first of all I can't believe that I watched the Pilot to this show off the FOX website because I had seen the previews for it and did not find them all that compelling.   The only reason I was even on the website was to look at what they had on there for So You Think You Can Dance, which is about the only reality show I can stand anymore.

I hadn't really talked to anyone who had watched the pilog for Glee when FOX aired it a few weeks ago.  I think a higher power was some how guiding me tonight because without even thinking about it I found myself clicking on the video for it and I am going to be thanking everyone I ever met for that decision.

I have not enjoyed a TV show that much is a very long time.  It had me smiling and laughing the entire time.  The acting is better than I thought it would be as is the singing.  I for one will be watching this show in the Fall and that seems like a awfully long time from now.

Re: Glee

I was hooked the first time I saw the previews. I thought the show was great ! It was cute, funny, and the acting was a lot better than I had anticipated. Good tv shows have been really hard to come across lately, and hopefully this show will be the start of many more good ones.

Re: Glee

My teenage daughters and I watched it and really enjoyed it. My oldest(17)promptly went to I tunes and downloaded the final song. Now we are all singing loudly in the car to a very Gleeful rendition of the Journey song. I look forward to the new episodes in fall.

Re: Glee

Ok, so I lovveee So You Think You can Dance. I've only missed like one season of it lol. But Glee, Glee I'm having mixed feelings about. I didn't really watch the first episode because of riskay things during it since my parents were in the room haha. But the third episode with Single Ladies as the song was amazzinngg! Kurt danced it better than the girls did! Roflmao I think I might be watching more of that show this year. I hope that the Glee club teacher catches on that his wife's NOT preggo and is going to steal the now preggo cheerleader's baby! :smileysurprised::smileymad:

I'm having a hard time driving myself to the FOX website to watch this show.  All of my friends are making me crazy about it since they're all hooked, but I have some serious high school trauma associated with show choirs that I've yet to deal with nearly 15 years later.  Sounds stupid and all that, but maybe this show would be cathartic?  Would it be totally wrong to be on the cheer team's side?  :smileytongue:

If there is something about the Fox site that bothers you, both Fancast and Hulu have the episodes up to watch.

Re: Glee

Last night's episode was awesome! Rachel having a crush on the Glee instructor was hillarious. Don't Stand So Close to Me/Young Girl was cool, too. I haven't really heard him sing before and he's great! Young Girl is also my bf and I's special song kind of and it was our anniversary yesterday so that just made it even more special lol.

My mom couldn't believe that Quinn's parents kicked her out like that. She cried when Finn told his mom she was pregnant. She cried when the mom cried. I'll be sooo sad that I'll miss it next week. :smileysad:

If I'm not mistaken, after midnight or so, you can watch the latest episode on-line.  You might check your cable provider too, to see if they have it available "ON Demand."  I haven't checked myself, but one never knows.  That way, you won't miss it completely next week.  :smileyhappy:

Re: Glee

I know this thread hasn't been talked about in a week or so, but I have to just put my two cents in and find this is a great show! It's about time where music is so infused with simple plots to really distract you from your own life sometimes. Sure you really can't take what is going on as quality, but it has quality with the talent of these singers. I find this a great change of pace in today's reality and crime shows. Now we must wait 4 months until the new episodes. =\

Re: Glee

Well, I sat down to watch the first disc of Glee Season 1, Pt. 1 and watched it without interruption.  Really great!  I hope to get the next disc on Monday.

Re: Glee

Ok, I'm all caught up.  I'm really enjoying the show.  Some huge talent on there.  And I'm so in love with Kristin Chenoweth.  I knew she was awesome, but I've never had an opportunity to experience so much of her singing.  I wonder if we'll be seeing more of her since she's on her way with her $2 million in hush money.  Hhmmm...
