I'm with you, GS.  I love this series, and Robin is my favorite character.  I wish she and Ted hadn't stopped hooking up.

I do love Robin, but my favorite character is Barney! He's Legen... *wait for it*...DAIRY!!! Haha, two of my favorite episodes are sandcastles in the sand and drumroll, I think they were both soo sweet. My all time favorite episode though is the wedding bride. It was just soo funny!!!

Re: How I Met Your Mother

I love this show too! I just caught up with season 6, which I thought was MUCH better than season 5. My favorite character definitely has to be Barney. It's hard to pick a favorite episode from so many funny ones, but I have to say I loved the one where Barney went on The Price is Right!

Re: How I Met Your Mother

I love it, too, although I've only watched the syndicated reruns, and not the newer episodes.  Trying to think of episodes, I liked the one where Lily moved in with Barney and pretended to be his wife in order to scare off his one-night stands.  I especially loved it when he had the one girl who wasn't scared off by any of his normal ploys!  Also, Lily and Marshall's wedding was hilarious - Marshall's hair, Lily's veil, etc.!

Neil Patrick Harris is a genius!  He is also such an excellent awards show host (especially the TV-Land awards), that I'm hoping they will eventually get him to do the Oscars!

Re: How I Met Your Mother

Barney: “Shotgun for eternity!”
Robin: “You can't call shotgun for eternity.”
Barney: “I call that I can call things.”

“Think of me like Yoda, but instead of being little and green I wear suits and I'm awesome. I'm your bro—I'm Broda!”

Barney, describing his brother: “He's the awesomest, most best-lookingest, greatest guy ever!”
Lily: “He's exactly like Barney.”
Barney: “That's what I just said.”

"What up!"

"Legen-wait for it-DARY!"

******SPOILERS******

I watched drumroll last night (one of my all time favorites.) And I think that it had the absolute most perfect ending that it could have possibly had. I love that in the end the mystery girl was the one that had made the cake that Marshall was so in love with!!! And when Ted went out to find her instead of her being mad at him for breaking the rules she was like " Thank God!!" It was perfect.

Re: How I Met Your Mother

I don't think that it was too much of his choice, she chose Germany over him. I did get really mad, though, when he broke up with the girl that had the sock monkey collection. He broke up with her on her birthday, for the second time!!! She was perfect!!!!!!!!

Have any of you seen the naked man, or the hippy Barney episode??? Those were AWESOME!!!!

Re: How I Met Your Mother

I thought the baker girl went to Paris.  Also, if I remember rightly, I think Ted finally had a chance to get together with Robin, which he couldn't pass up, so I couldn't blame him.  The baker and Ted were a good couple, though.

The naked man episode was great - who would think that would ever work!

Then there was the goat...

Re: How I Met Your Mother

I actually don't like Ted and Robin together that much. Am I crazy to think that Barney and Robin are meant to be?

Re: How I Met Your Mother

No not really. Speeking of Robbin. I seen another good one to day. When Ted's sister came in to town, and Marshal took Robbin to the bars. Haha. But at the end when he sings the song, yeah now thats stuck in my head again. "Let go to the mall... today!" Funny but every time I hear it. Its in my head for a week.
