I watched a few episodes of Modern Family on ABC and thought it was quite a nice show. Excellent cast of characters and whipsmart writing. Very much like Glee it's the definition of feel good TV. The excellent Ed O'Neill is always fun and Julie Bowen is easy on the eyes.

I already watch too much television (unashamed) but I might be missing out on a few things. Still have not seen Glee or Breaking Bad yet, either.

Modern Family is ok. What kind of freaks me out is that Ed O'Neill and his 'wife' are named Jay and Gloria, which are the names of a couple on the street where I grew up and were close friends with their daughters! Every time I watch it, I can't help wondering whether they've seen the show! It reminds me a bit of Parenthood - and what the heck are they thinking, making yet another series of that, when the first one tanked? I guess they think people will have forgotten by now.
I like Cougar Town, which follows Modern Family, a bit better. And I especially have been enjoying Eastwick, which follows them both. Unfortunately it has not been doing well, and I think it's being canceled. Too bad because it's an interesting and fun show, and not a replica of the movie.

Don't particularly care for Cougar Town, seams like a amped up version of The Old Christine to me. And I find neither amusing. Wish Coutney was still doing Dirt, now that was a guilty pleasure.
Watched a few half of episodes of Eastwick. Was hoping to like it, but except for some of the supporting characters just didn't care if they all went over a cliff. (shrug) Set design is good though.

Have only seen Modern Family a couple of times but still find it funny. Wish I'd caught the "Moon Landing" episode. It looked hysterical. I can never figure out when shows are on these days. They keep moving my Law & Order all over the place and the only time I watch it is when I stumble on it accidentally.
