Mary Travers of Peter, Paul & Mary fame has left on that great big Jet Plane to the afterlife. A kiss and a smile from me, Mary.

I liked Peter, Paul, and Mary. I have their 10 Years Together album. I've always particularly loved Lemon Tree, and Puff the Magic Dragon always makes me cry.

That's really sad news. They were all my mom would play besides classical. P,P, and M songs bookend my childhood.

Peter, Paul, and Mary were a big part of my childhood, so Mary's death really hits me a lot more than the other celebrity deaths we've been inundated with in the media lately. I've had this in the CD player in the car since I found out:

I had all of PP&M's records as a teen and wore them out. I always sang along and knew Mary's part on all the songs. I've replaced most of them with CD's and want to get some of the newer ones. My favorite solo track of Mary's would have to be There is a Ship from
Goodbye, Mary and thank you.
