I watched this again last night in preparation for the release of the American Version. I don't mind subtitles but for those of you who cringe at them, it is also dubbed into English so you just have to get past the word/mouth movement syncing. I recommend this movie highly. You can either enjoy it at face value or contemplate the deeper story line about adolescence, loss of youth, and evolution of Oscar.

tonight. I'm going to have it put this way. There are many things the Swedish film does so much better. However there are some insightful nuances that I guess were lost in translation, that the US version does really really well. Honestly I can now only recommend you see both of them.
