You would love the CD. I bought it two Christmases ago and I never get enough of it.

I'm feeling quite nostalgic this Christmas, so I've been mostly listening to music from the early 1980's:
The B-52's THE B-52'S (i.e. "The Yellow Album")
Donna Summer's THE WANDERER
Barbra Streisand's GREATEST HITS VOLUME 2
The Go-Go's BEAUTY AND THE BEAT
Cyndi Lauper's HE'S SO UNUSUAL
Deborah Harry's KOO KOO
The Sisters of Mercy's FIRST AND LAST AND ALWAYS
Sonic Youth's BAD MOON RISING

I have been listening to Mario Frangoulis all through Christmas. But then, he is my favorite. How I wish he had a Christmas CD! He just released a new CD called, Season of Love. Beautiful! Unfortunately it has to be ordered from Greece. If any one is interested, I have always ordered from Panos(www.greekmusicshop.gr) who is very reliable and friendly. It was released on the 20th and made it in three days. Can't get enough of Mario!

Just turned a friend on to Tom Waits, from Swordfishtrombones up to the new live album Glitter and Doom...always a great experience to expose new music that's 'been around for 30 years.'

I won an iPod at our Christmas party, and at work I've been bringing in a few CDs each day and loading them into iTunes and thence to my iPod, as well as building a library to listen to at work so I don't have to bring in CDs. Today I've been listening to:
At home, since Christmas, I have been living in an orgy of Cheap Trick, as I bought myself their first 5 albums for Christmas:

I have seen Justin Hayward and the Moody Blues twice in concert and I plan to see them again. I love the duet he has with Mario Frangoulis of Nights In White Satin. But then, I really love Mario Frangoulis' voice. Would love to see him Join Justin Hayward in a concert in the USA.
I have been listening to Vittorio Grigolo's cd, Vittorio. It is just wonderful! After Mario Frangoulis, Vittorio Grigolo is my favorite!

For some reason I'm in the mood for Laura Brannigan. I've listend to "Self Control" and "Gloria". The video for "Self Control" was different even for the 80s.

Love Linda Eder, Joshua Bell and Chris Botti!
If you get a chance listen to Vittorio Grigolo. In The hands of Love and Mario Frangoulis' Sometimes I Dream. Secret Garden is also a favorite as well as Juan Diego Flores, Placido Domingo and Alessandro Safina.

Laura Brannigan's songs Gloria and Ti Amo are English versions (with very different lyrics) of songs by an Italian singer named Umberto Tozzi. I have them both on 45, sung in Spanish by Tozzi, which I bought during two study trips to Spain. I also have Tozzi's greatest hits (in Italian), which includes both songs. I'd love to have them in Spanish on CD, but I don't think such a CD exists. Apparently there was a vinyl album of his hits in Spanish, but it doesn't seem to have been issued on CD. I also have Brannigan's greatest hits, mainly for those songs!
Bertah, I love Secret Garden, too.
Yesterday I was listening to
Symptom of the Universe: The Original Black Sabbath (1970-1978)
and
and today I've been listening to
