Seriously some of the best comedy coming out of the UK at the moment. It's just delightful.

Yeah that show is awesome.  Definitely check out

The It Crowd if you like Mighty Boosh - it's a lot of the same people.

I didn't like "the It crowd", but MB is hilarious.  Recent interview with those guys, they not only touring the US but planning on moving here.

Re: What are you watching?

I am in the middle of watching Dexter Season 3. I love this series.

I have read the books except for the last one that just came out recently.

Great series.

Re: What are you watching?

I agree!  Dexter is the man!  I cannot wait until the current season comes out on video and I can watch it.
He kindof reminds me of UN OWEN from "And Then There Were None."  You who've read it will know what I mean.

Re: What are you watching?

Last night I saw the first episode of a show called "Being Human" which is a British show about a ghost, a vampire, and a werewolf all living in a house together.  Surprisingly, it was a lot more serious than I thought - or maybe it was just very, very dry humour.  In any case, while I can't exactly bring myself to call it "good", it was entertaining at any rate.

Re: What are you watching?

I didn't think of that. I just finished "And Then There Were None" and yes Dexter is a type of UN Owen.

The thing I like about Dexter is it makes me root for the serial killer. I never thought I would do that.

Re: What are you watching?

I have been watching the first season of Dead Like Me on Netflix.

What a good show! I missed it when it was on SciFi channel.

So I went to the "New Moon" release....

...and I was disappointed.  Since I wasn't expecting a lot, that's probably not so good.

I will say that the make-up and effects have improved drastically, so the movie is far more watchable in that respect, but the acting is still inadequate (at least for my taste; I'm sure those who came only to see Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson sans shirts were more than satisfied).  I thought the best scenes were in Volterra and really wish there were more opportunities to see the Volturi in action in the last two movies.

I think I'm turning into one of those "you kids get off my lawn" people...*sigh* what I wouldn't give for a really good art-house theatre in my town.

Re: What are you watching?

We just started season 3 of Dexter and we are now watching season 1 of Fringe.

Fringe - Season 1

It reminds me of the X-Files which was my favorite series.  My favorite character is Walter.  Love it.

Transformers: Season 2 - Vol 1: 25th Anniversary

Picked this up a few weeks ago and haven't had the time to watch it until now. Still one of the best animated series in my opinion.
