Re: TV suggestions for the summer?

Add White Collar to that list also!  And Psych should be starting up later this summer too.

Re: TV suggestions for the summer?

When is Warehouse 13 on?  I think I missed most of the last season altogether, and it wasn't On Demand, either, which it had been in previous seasons (On Demand is getting quite disappointing, as many shows have been dropped).

Looking forward to Hot in Cleveland!

I also watch Big Brother, which I imagine will be coming soon.  Really a summer guilty pleasure!

Re: TV suggestions for the summer?

Unfortunately, the two shows I most want to watch this summer would require an upgrade to my cable package that just isn't in the cards: True Blood and Torchwood (which will be on Starz instead of BBC America). Guess I'll wait for the DVDs.

Re: TV suggestions for the summer?

Yes Thanks Ryan. I have been looking trying to find when Haven starts. I really liked it last year.

Re: TV suggestions for the summer?

Does anyone else like "Flashpoint"?  For some reason, they're showing new episodes now.

Summer is also the time to catch up on things you'd like to watch, but they were on opposite things you really wanted to watch before summer (you can only tape or DVR so much!).

Speaking of guilty pleasures, there's always "Wipeout."

Also, I have to confess:  I find "Big Bang Theory" so funny that I'd rather watch reruns of it than first-run episodes of almost anything else!  :smileyhappy:

Can anyone recommend any television shows that I can try out this summer? I watch several series but they have ended for the season. I tried out Men of a Certain Age on TNT but can't quite get into it. I am DVRing It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on Comedy Central and enjoy that one. I know that there is a series coming on ScyFy based on a Stephen King novel that I will try and True Blood starts back end of this month. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I need a little TV at night to unwind and I am not one to watch reruns.

I've found that I can check out a couple of series from the library (instead of waiting for them one disc per season at a time via blockbuster).  I'll be trying out these two (haven't seen either but figure they will hold me for the summer if I can get all seasons).

I love the The Big Bang Theory. And I totally agree I would watch reruns before anything else. I don't want to remove them from my DVR. Excellent series.

Glades: The Complete First Season

Season 2 just premiered.  It was one of my favorites last summer.  Well written, good characters and offbeat humor.

I'm also a big fan of The Glades and Big Bang Theory!  I really want Leonard and Penny back together.

For this summer I'm all ready for: The Glades, Rizzoli and Isles, and (sniff, sniff) the final season of The Closer.  I will miss this one, but will make sure I complete my DVD collection.  My all time favorite episode is Flynn and Provenza and The Sky Box Tickets!
