Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

What song is stuck in your head right now

What song are you singing and don't even notice it until someone looks at you weird???

For me it's between:

Human Leagues "Don't you want me"

Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody"

Chicago's "Nowadays"

You and Tequila

You and Tequila make me crazy,

you're like poison in my blood.

One more night might kill me, baby.

One is one too many,

one more is never enough.

Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter

I think this ear worm must have come from the Jose Cuervo.  (And they "say" the tequila worm is just a myth.)

Nancy

Re: What song is stuck in your head right now

A couple of nights ago a co-worker started singing, "John Jacob Jingle Heimer Smith" because we had a patient with a somewhat similar name. I almost went insane with that song running through my head for 6 hours. Cripes! Now that I've typed it, it's starting an unending loop as I type! AAARHG!!

I Don't Want to Be a Bride by Vanessa Carlton, but I really don't mind.  It is perfect for the piece I'm working on right now...:smileyvery-happy:

Re: What song is stuck in your head right now

Great thread! I always have a song stuck in my head, and I sing out loud all the time, much to the disgust of those around me, haha. Right now, I can't stop thinking about the new Horrible Crowes single, Behold the Hurricane. The single is available, and it's beyond amazing. Earlier, the Sam Cooke version of This Litttle Light of Mine was on mental repeat. A kid in the women's fiction series I'm writing was singing it, and that was a moment that stuck in my head for some reason.
