Any chance B&N might settle on a STANDARD USB connector sometime in the future?

Any chance B&N might settle on a STANDARD USB connector sometime in the future?

I've got Simple Touch, Color, & HD+ and ALL three have different non-standard cables. My next reader/tablet WILL use some standard cable that won't cost $10-15 additional for a spare. Will it be another B&N???

The Nook Color does take a standard micro-Usb connector I use one to charge up my nook color slowly and to transfer files. It does charge but takes 8-12 hrs to charge on a standard micro-usb connector connected to my computer.

And no as long as they want to support fast charging which includes 2 additional pins for supplying enough power from a A.C. source then they can't make it into a universal cable.

I stopped using the Color when I got my HD+ and (embarrassingly) forgot the micro-USB connector. I think I've just let the frustration of way too many different cables for way too many devices confound my normal reticence.
