How can I get the Epicurious app to update?

It's been stuck on "Winter" recipes for months now. When I purchased the app, it was advertised as automatically updating WEEKLY. It should have moved on from "winter" by June, don't you think?

Hi embeccamom,

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with this app. Please try archiving and unarchiving the app on your NOOK.

You can do this by long pressing the application on your home screen or in your library, you should then see the option to archive appear on your screen. Do so and sync your library,  by pressing the circular arrows in the bottom left corner or the library screen.

Then navigate to "My Stuff" -> "Archived" and download the application again.

Hope this helps

I can think of three things -

1) If it updates automatically weekly then it probably uses WiFi to download recipes. Is your WiFi on? Is it working?

2) It might not be getting the right date and time. For that the archive and unarchive would work. You should also go to settings and check your time.

3) If they meant that the ENTIRE APP would be updated, then you would have to update to the latest version.

Go to the Apps page.

Tap on 'Check for Updates' link on the top right. It's a blue link text below the My Stuff button.

Wait while it checks for app updates (1 to 2 minutes).

You will see a popup that lists all available updates. Tap on the Epicurious app if it's available as an update.
