How does one delete their own post?

This post is related to the I posted a minute ago. My NT wouldn't type, so I tried to close the post and instead, mistakenly posted an empty message.
How do I delete it?

These boards don't have a delete option. Don't worry about it, it will gradually drop down as other people add new posts. You can always edit your posts (for about an hour after posting) and say "Never mind."
