Looking for murder mysteries in (I think) Minnesota

Can't recall any titles or the author.  But the heroine owns a yarn shop, has a female cop friend named Jill, and solves murder mysteries.  The author is female.  Any ideas?

There's a discussion group here specifically for asking about lost books like that, so that is a good place to post questions like this.  http://bookclubs.barnesandnoble.com/t5/Lost-Books/bd-p/lostbooks

Also, for mysteries, a great resource is a website called Stop, You're Killing Me, http://www.stopyourekillingme.com/.  They have lists of fictional detectives searchable by location and other factors.  Searching their location index for Minnesota turns up an entry for Betsy Devonshire: needlework shop owner in Excelsior, Minnesota.  Author name is Monica Ferris.  All of her book titles are needlework-related puns.  My favorite is Crewel World.
