I would like to know how the Read Instantly is supposed to work from someone who is behind it all.
When I click on it, my entire book opens up. Please tell me the average person does not get to read my whole book for free.
AND...I am now available for Virtual Author Visits via Skype!

I'm not on the inside, but you can only get the whole book when you click Read Instantly on a book that's in your library. So already bought and paid for books (or free books in your library). I just checked for you on a book not in my BN library. I clicked Read Instantly on the book in the shop and it brought up the sample. It doesn't specifically say sample, though. It lists the name of the book and author at the top, but in the top right hand corner it says Nookbook $1.99, so to get the whole book I have to click there to pay for it.
I just checked it on a book I know is in my library. It opens the whole book when it's a book you already own from BN. Keep in mind I am signed in right now so the website knows which books are in my library. SO if you are signed in to BN.com (you must be since you're posting) and your own book is in your library it will open the whole book when you click Read Instantly, even if you click from the Shop and not from My Library. If the book isn't in your library and you got the whole book, then maybe there's a glitch woth your book and you can contact B&N. SInce you didn;t give me the name of the book I couldn't check it out for you.
Edited to add if it's the book listed in your sig, it is not the whole book. I just tried to Read Instantly that book and it only gives me the sample and an option to buy since I didn't buy it.
