Why is the email app that comes with your Nook charging a $1.50 for use in some cases?

It doesn't charge.
Did you get a receipt?
What exactly do you mean 'charging a $1.50 for use'. Is it that you're trying to 'buy' an email app? Or it's asking you for a charge when you try to send out email.
I have a Nook Color and Nook Tablet and never had anything like that. Nor have I seen anything like this on the forums.
Solitaire, Mahjong Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, FreeCell - Solitaire Game Pack.
Word Search, Kriss Kross, Quote Falls, Hangman - Word Game Pack.
Alarm Clock, Weather, Calendar, ToDo - Alarm Clock & Calendar.
3 Hidden Objects Adventures - 3 Hidden Objects Adventures.
