Why has the billing system changed so that the gift card with the smallest balance isn't tapped first to pay for Nook books? I usually keep two or three gift cards in my account. Recently, I had two cards with balances less than $1, and the third card kept being used to pay for new books. Currently, I have one card with $2 and change, and one with $25 and change, and the third card with a higher balance is the one being used. This makes no sense, and it didn't used to work this way. (I've had my Nook for about 18 months.) Thanks in advance, if you can do anything or if you have a suggestion.

B&N didn't buy Borders. Borders was bought by Hilco and Gordon Brothers, companies that specialize in liquidation.
