Harlan Coben's Shelter Will Leave Teens and Adults on the Edge of Their Seats
Status: Bookseller PicksShelter (Mickey Bolitar Series #1) Mickey is just an average teen at a new school except for a few minor details- his dad just died, mom is in rehab and he lives with his uncle who he has only minimal contact with. He is just starting to settle in and maybe play some basketball when he befriends the school nerd- Spoon , a large goth girl with a chip on her shoulder, Ema and a really pretty girl is interested in him- until she disappears. With his new friends and a visit to a "haunted house" of the Bat Lady Mickey tries to solve what happened to Ashley. Creepy guys in sunglasses and suits suddenly follow him and the plot gets even more twisted. We have seen this classic match up in teen books before but Coben's adult crime novel background serves him well and you will find yourself reading Shelter in one sitting. Now when is #2 coming out?

Shelter by Harlan Coben came out a few months ago and you will find it with the teen books.
The characters are related in this book and Coben's other books for adults.
