The Marbury Lens Jack and Conner are just two average teens looking for the next party, getting girls and getting away from their parents until one night Jack gets drunk and something really bad happens. The book gets weirder by the page after that night with Jack and Conner committing a crime and Jack comes across a weird pair of goggles that act as a portal to another world that is even more screwed up than the one they are in. The pair travel to London to check out a school for next year and meet the girls of their dreams. Jack keeps getting pulled into Marbury (the alternate universe) and can't quite get a grip on things. Enter Seth, a ghost who seems to be able to speak to Jack from both universes and the plot thickens. The story is teen dystopia at its best but due to drug, alcohol, sex and language it is designed for older teens and adults.
