nook color or nook tablet

Hi,

Going to buy my wife a nook next month.She wants one for ebooks,checking facebook,emails,google etc.Not for videos,maybe play a few games.My question is should I get the color or spend a little more for the tablet.I really want to just get the refurbished offered  for $149.00 with my limited income .Any thoughts from anyone.

If money matters, then go for the $149 nookcolor. We have two nookcolors and love them. My laptop gets little use these days unless I really need to type for extended amounts of time. Save that $100 for buying ebooks ;0)

I think the Nook Color would do just fine for what she's wanting.  Scrolling is noticeably smoother on the NT but it's not too bad on the Color.  I agree with the previous poster; save the difference in price for ebooks.  :smileyhappy:
