Hi again :smileyhappy:

I just wanted to let you know that I really liked Covet. I was okay with is having a 'slow start' because I think I went in feeling like it was an intro into a whole new series that would get all kind of complicated, so I expected you to do a lot of ground-work, so to speak. Almost like a good in-depth prologue. So now I feel well set up for the next book and can't wait to see where this all leads Jim, Eddie, Adrian, and Dog....who I totally love, btw. Makes me want to get one, I haven't had a dog in YEARS...but I digress.  I thought there were just enough hints about the characters to make readers want to know more, and I loved all the peaks at the BDB world, where we are already familiar.

And speaking of, when did Covet happen in BDB time? I felt like it was in the two weeks where Lash has Xhex?

Thanks again,

Lilly

I love Dog too!  COVET took place during Xhex's abduction yes!

Hey warden,

I am a huge fan of the black dagger brotherhood. I started with Lover Avenged, and within reading the first three chapters I went and bought the whole series. It took me a little over a month to complete the series(just finished) and I'm extremely egger to get my hands on Lover Mine. I am curious though as to how the long the series will be? I love it and don't want it to ever end, and it would be amazing if each of the brothers had multiple books(I really enjoyed rage's book). Covet was amazing as well and I look forward to reading the fallen angel series.

Loyal fan, and anxious reader

I'm so glad you love the Brothers!  The series is totally open ended at this point- so as long as the stories keep coming and the readers are still there, I hope to continue!

And I agree- I like how Wrath and Beth came back in this one- and I can see other opportunities to update folks on where the Brothers are!

Hasn't the tie between Darius, Beth and JM already been revealed?  We discussed this AT LENGTH on the BDB forum.  ; )  BTW, I loved Darius even before he was killed...  I wish he played a bigger role in the stories, but in a way, he is still there.  Here's my big problem-  every one is constantly trying to make a movie out of these guys.  Tell me the truth, J.R.---  Would Wrath really want to let a movie be made of the brothers?  Vishous would have apoplexy if this were to happen.  and Z?  C'mon, you know they would hate everything about it.  I think Qhuinn would be the only one down with it, maybe Rhage.    I just finished Covet.  I love the way Marie-Therese ran into Phury at the NA meeting.  (snicker)  Covet was a change, but still familiar.  That was cool.  Thanks for great stories!  Also, I want to see some doggen love for Fritz happen sometime in the future ; )

Awwww!  I'm a huge fan of Darius's as well and agree that it is like he's still there!  I'll let you see what happens in LOVER MINE so that's a KEEEEEEEEEP READDDDDDDDDDDDDING!!!

As for the movie thing- if the right thing came along, I would do it!  And the Brothers just do their thing so I don't know if they'd have an opinion one way or the other- as long as I keep writing they're happy!

Re: J.R. Ward, October 19-23

When will we read more about Trez and IAm, who are obviously very special guys? Can you tell us a bit more about them?

And do we have to prepare ourselves for at least three failures in the Fallen Angels series?

And of course I want to know it, too: What's with the lie and V?

And what did Qhuinn saw at the door to the fade?

And who is No'One?

Hi!!!  I"m so glad you like the Bothers!  You will definitely hear more from Trez and iAm and I hope to write their stories in their own seperate books!  I'm not sure about the failures in Angels- we'll have to see where that goes :smileyvery-happy:  The lie thing- I just don't have a lot to say ther *sigh*

And I hope you'll find out about Qhuinn and the door!

I must say that I really enjoyed reading your new book Covet. The plot and characters was everything that I hope for. The beginning was slow but really isn't most things slow at first! hehe

I really like how the Jim in not the only person conflicted in this book. I love your style of writing. I mean the hero all have issues (mostly HUGE issues) but they seem to take in stride the demands while embarrassing their destiny. Free will in all!!! MT and Vin was by the most prefect conflicting pair. There was so much of a human element with a dash of hardcore paranormal. I jumped up and down for joy when I read that you had the plot setting in Caldwell, Ny. LUV IT...the world within the world just shows that not everything is what you think it is. I giggle when I read the glimpses of BDB, Trez and let's not forget Butch's old cop partner. (can't spell his name..lol)

Being a army wife for eight years with a family,,,I really need a break from this world and step into another...and let me just say THANK U GOD for you! Whatever is in your head with all these stories (mostly the BDB) please feel free to let go and tell ALL!  Covet is a good read and I know that the next book will be just great...BUT I'll always be a fan at heart with the Brothers.I mean they are my first love. Reading Rehv's book was great and hard. It hit on alot of  personal issues with me, but I got through it..Love how you kept Wrath still having problems with being king..you keep everything real, true? *okay.Admitting yeah..love V and Butch's relationship..I mean come on, the potato launcher..CLASSIC!*:smileywink:

I'm still trying very hard not to read the spoilers for your Fallen Angles series or BDB..hard but trying!

Question:: In Covet, if they are all on Harley's, how is DOG going to travel so far??? hehe

Thanks JR. You really don't know what you writing does for so many people. You are truly a blessed author and person. *hugs and thanks*:smileyvery-happy:

OMG you are so sweet!  Thank you!  I'm so glad you like COVET and I agree potato launchers rock!!

As for Dog- they're going to get him one of those little outriggers!  And plus they have Jim's truck and Ad's SUV :smileyvery-happy:

will there be any slices of life for covet or any new ones for the brotherhood?

thanks in advance:smileyhappy:

Hi lilbitofchaos!  You know... here's my thing, the next big thing that happens to Rhage and Mary has to do with children.  So I wanted to do a SOL but I don't think that's going to be enough space, you know?  To do it justice?  I was thinking about putting it into another book as a subplot but it's too big... so now I'm like huh maybe we could do like a Father Mine sized stand alone?  I just need to find the time! :smileyvery-happy:

Re: J.R. Ward, October 19-23

Hello again!

I wonder...

When  the Shellans get their own time to go out for drinks, get pedicures and have a GNO (girls night out) together do the Brother's wonder what kind of "trouble" they get into?

Most husbands still shake their heads when girls go to the restroom in pairs :smileytongue:

I can't even imagine what the BDB would do if all of the Shellans went out for drinks and dinner and happily left them at home!  :smileyhappy:

Love the Shellans!
Cheers-

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new Book and can NOT wait for Lover Mine!  Woo-Hoo!

Question I'm HOPING you'll answer to ease my anxiety....( seriously!!)

Why can't you tell us who Tohr's HEA is with if you already know who it is?   We knew ahead of time with the other books- ie. V, Phury, Rehv., JM, and now even Payne & Manny!!! Or atleast say whether or not Wellsie is FOR SURE - in no shape, or form in anyway EVER- his HEA ?

Thanks!!

Hi! And thankies!!  I really hope you like John Matthew's story :smileyvery-happy:

I will say that it absolutely postiviely in no form is Wellsie- the thing is, she has to stay in the Fade with their son.  And Tohr does meet someone who understands all he's been through... *sigh*

It's a good story, sad and bittersweet and uplifting......

Re: J.R. Ward, October 19-23

Any chance you will do a signing in Charlotte, NC?

We know that Payne willl join the Brotherhood - as female(s) begin to join, will the induction ceremony change at all?  I have such a hard time picturing a female (even as tough as they are) standing there naked having those males punch them in the chest with that barbed glove.  Yikes!

Hey jshock!!  AWww *waves arms back**dog looks at me funny*  You are so sweet!  And I don't know about Charlotte but I would love to come there sometime...

The induction ceremony will not change- although it wouldn't surprise me if clothing was added!  Not sure though- we'll have to see...  Yeah, I'm thinking there are going to be loin clothes added!  :smileywink:

Re: J.R. Ward, October 19-23

Good Afternoon! :smileywink:

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Covet and look forward to learning more about the relationship between each Fallen Angel and the role that Dog will play.   I have a feeling that Jim is going to consistently need that scruffy little guy! LOL.

Additionally, I am wondering if Beth is going to be asking Wrath why he is visiting the other side since he comes back to the Mansion all spent after fighting with Payne.  I mean,  I kind of questioned at the end of Lover Avenged (Rehvenge is awesome, btw) how come Beth didn't ask what was going on?  Or that Wrath didn't mention it to her.  Especially considering how upset she had gotten when he was out in the field fighting for over a month without telling her.  She has to be wondering...no?

And btw, I have all the patience in the world for Lover Mine because I know it's going to be soo well worth the wait!  Each of your creations are captivating and a lot of fun.

Thanks so much!

Re: J.R. Ward, October 19-23

Hi ya...Ms. Ward.

Question: How do you keep the plots all in order?? With all of your writing of the Brothers and Angels I would think you would something more than just coffee to drink!!! hehehe jk.  What's the deal with Lassiter? Fallen Angel right?

I forgot to thank you for a signed copy that I got in the mail with Rehv's book. I cried so hard with joy. IT was GREAT. I'm counting until John's book.

IS there going to be a black dagger sisterhood?? maybe a branch with Payne or Xhex?? More one question...is there going to be a love inters for Jim?? I know he is dead but it's just sad that all he has to love him is his mother....:smileysad:

*smiles so wide I look like the joker* Luv the brother's please find more to write! I don't care if it is about them going leather shopping...anything! hehehe

Re: J.R. Ward, October 19-23

Hi J.R!:smileyvery-happy:

How wonderful to talk with you and let you know how much I, as one of your fans appreciate the great books you've given us!  Simply fabulous reads from a great author!  What a creative and great imagination you have.  Thanks so very much!

I haven't read Covet yet, but have it in my TBR pile.  Also, I haven't read Lover Avenged as I've had to wait for it to come out in paper.  Hardcovers are so expensive!  I'll have these two books to savor until John's story comes out.  BTW do you have anything coming out before John Matthew's story?

My questions are about the BDB.  Is Lassister the Fallen Angel in Lover Enshrined, going to get his own book or is he going to be in a crossover book?

Will there be any more kids for the Brotherhood and their shellans?

Are the SV and the Omega brother and sister (I thought they were)?

I know Payne will get her own book.  Any idea who her HEA will be?  (I hope it's not Tohr)

Will Tohr get his own book? (Hope so)!  I think it would be great to give Tohr a human as his HEA, since he seemed so upset with Rhage bringing Mary, a human to the compound?

Will Butch's dad ever be revealed?  If so, is he still living?

Have you saw the unofficial Black Dagger Brotherhood Poster?  I saw it on Fanart.  Really nice with actors made up in the roles of the characters.  The only one I couldn't figure out was Brad Pitt as Phury and Channing Tatum as Zsadist.  Aren't Zsadist and Phury identical twins?  If so, that can't be.

Once, again thanks so much for the great series!  I look forward to many more great books.  Please don't ever end the Black Dagger Brotherhood!  I love it!!! :smileyhappy:

Hey J.R.:womanvery-happy:

Since everyone is pumping you for info. on the brothers and angels I thought I'd ask something I've been wondering for awhile.   I love the dialog in your books, especially the slang.  How did you go about writing that?  Were you up on the whole urban slang thing to begin with or did you have to work at it?

Oh, J.R.  I forgot one of my questions!  Will Doc Jane ever be more substance other than ghostly?  The SV's father could help her.  Have you thought about that scenario?  Please think about it!  Thanks! :smileyvery-happy:
