MOVIE DEAL for EMPEROR's CHILDREN

I just read in the New York Times that Claire Messud's THE EMPEROR's CHILDREN has been optioned for a movie. It will be directed by Ron Howard (A BEAUTIFUL MIND), and the screen play is being written by Noah Baumgarten, who is both writer and director for THE SQUID AND THE WHALE.
Those are a very impressive and talented group of people!
