I think one of my favorites is The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, I finally sat down and started reading it and now I have a hard time doing other things (cleaning, cooking, etc), all I want to do is read it. It was surprising to me how easy it reads and how quickly Dumas pulls you into the story as the audience. I highly recommend it!
