Thank you to all of you who sent suggestions for our reading selections this summer. Below are the finalists from those you suggested. Finalists had more than one person suggesting that title.
Please know that if you don't see the title you suggested below that we who work behind the scenes will hold on to all suggestions we receive in considering selections for future months.
I've decided, to save time, to forgo the pros and cons discussion of these titles (they are all worthy titles, after all) and go straight to the voting process where you can most effectively voice your preference. Please let me know your top two choices from these titles by private message (PM) by 5 p.m. Friday. I'll announce the "winners" on Monday morning!
Thanks for participating in "Readers' Choice"!
Finalists:
Grapes of Wrath, Steinbeck
Bleak House, Dickens
Madame Bovary, Flaubert
Vanity Fair, Thackeray
Daniel Deronda, Eliot
Jude the Obscure, Hardy
