I couldn't find an unabridged version of Les Miserables on the B & N ebook site...or did I miss it somehow? Is there one available? (There's one for the Kindle.)
Thanks

Steve -- try searching for Les Miserables under books. The descriptions are messy (sometimes in Spanish) and may be difficult to trust, but there appear to me to be several unabridged versions available, including a recent translation.
The investment looks substantial however, so you may want to check out your library or some reviews or find a bookstore with more than one edition before you make your choice.
Good luck, and would love to hear your choice, if you do find one to your liking. Translations can make a great deal of difference in quality and readability.

Sorry if I'm mistaken, but I'm not sure everybody realizes that Steve is asking specifically for an eBook (I assume for the Nook).

Thanks, Dulcinea. That escaped my attention.
Given that I don't use an ebook yet, I am pretty ignorant on editions available.
But, since I understand Guttenberg books are (sometimes?) downloadable, it might be worth checking out what is offered there.

I'm as ignorant as Pepper on eBooks and readers, but here is the link to the Gutenberg page for Les Miserables (in English; it is also available in French, in five volumes):
http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/135
I use the HTML or plain text versions of these books, which you can also copy, but I see that there are now additional ('experimental') versions further down that may be suitable.

Thanks for all the responses.
I purchased an Isabel Hopgood translation of Les Miserables published in September 2009, but for $0.99, I figured, even if it is a translation (which I don't know for sure it is), at least I could get a start on it. At the present time, I'm only on page 24 (nook page number) of 1,408 pages, so I've a ways to go.
Thanks again.
