Finding Nook Friends

Is there any easy way to come across Nook friends that isn't just asking for random friends online?  I don't have a problem with that method, but I don't think it's for me.  I don't have any friends who have Nooks, and so don't have any Nook friends yet.  Are there any services/web sites that work to connect people with nooks?

I know this has been asked before, but as this whole system is fairly new

Re: Finding Nook Friends

I agree - it would be great if there were a way to find friends who liked specific books or genres - more to share that way. I'm not into religious fiction and don't care for horror. I like a good read.

All time favorites include "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon; "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield; and "Annie Freeman's Fabulous Traveling Funeral" by Kris Radish.

Yes, I read the whole Harry Potter series and the Twilight series. Not interested in Shades of Grey series. Recently finished "1Q84" and just started "The Tigers Wife."

Liked "the Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet."

Hated "Little Bee."

Liked "The Mermaid Chair" and "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd

If your reading interests are similar, I'd love to connect

Hey I'm new & liked some of your book choices.  I also liked some that u didnt...oh well.  Interested in adding new friends to swap books.  Recently loved Wild: Los & Found on PCT & The Glass Castle & Defending Jacob (slow read to start but amazing ending)
