Interested to know what the story is about? Well, the story is based on my life, I am a recovered heroin addict. Marissa (the main character) heads off to college to pursue her dreams. While returning from a walk to the park she decides to take the stairs back up to her dorm room and twists her ankle, the pain is unbelievable. Her roommate is away because her father that she never knew passed away from an overdose in Las Vegas. So Marissa raids her stash of 'Extra Strength Ibuprofen' for her ankle pain. Turns out that it wasn't over the counter pain killers like she thought, but Oxycontin! She knew something was up but liked how they made her feel so much that she ignored the fact that something was wrong. By the time she finds out that she had been taking Oxycontin it was too late, she was addicted.
