Re: Free books in library

My free Nook books are not in My Library. I used to order them and they showed up on my Simple Touch and in My Library.

I have been clicking the download now, but nothing happens. The problem started when the read

on the web option started.  I have the Nook reader on my iMac and also have a Simple Touch.

I never read online or with the app for Mac. I also have the Nook app on my iPod.

Can we only read the free books on the web now? If that's the case, I am not a happy Nook owner.

I posted this question last week, but can't find my post?

Thanks for any help given.

Re: Free books in library

As I responded to your other posting in the NST forum:

Sounds like the issue is on your PC.  For free books the "Download Now" button is the equivalent of the "Buy Now" button for books with a price.  If it's not working, you're never actually getting the books into your library.  Have you switched to a new browser or updated your browser lately?  Do you have a pop-up blocker that is preventing the pop-up window needed for purchase?  Have you tried buying any books to see if they have the same issue?

Are you seeing any message at the top of your browser page that a pop-up page was blocked?

It may help to disable your pop-up blocker, or add barnesandnoble.com to your "Trusted sites" list.

Re: Free books in library

I use an iMac. I had the Barnes and Noble site on my allow list, but did some
"fiddling" with my Firefox browser and it worked for me. Thanks so much for the help.
