I've established a site where authors can seek out editors, graphic designers,
publishers, etc to support book deveopment.

It's also available for individuals to put together porfolios to market their services and books.

The site operates like facebook with the enhanced ability to develop manuscripts which
promote your work.

The About Us book outlines how the site works and the rights of our users.  You can find
it at, http://www.pscache.com/web/index.php/bookprofile/index/bookProfileId/35

Please let me know what you think of the site and if we can be of any service

Attention Digital Photographers - How-To-Books By Example

Hi fellow photographers, I currently have two books on digital photography. One is one

scenic photography and the other is on animals / wildlife. Both books demonstrate composition through images as well as written tips on getting better shots. They both

start out with a buyers guide to your first DSLR and essential equipment, then go onto

techniques with lighting, shutter speed, ISO, and aperture settings as well as the dynamics

of different shooting circumstances. Both books can be seen HERE.

Take care, John Crippen Photography and Books

Re: Good books for a 9 year old boy.

Hi there!  My name is Mike Berman and I am screenwriter/author who has written extensively for Disney, MGM, Sony and Dreamworks.  I have recently published my first book for kids 9+ and am looking to give away free Advance Review Copies.  Whether you are an official reviewer with a paper, or simply a mom or dad with kids who love to read, please send me an email at MDBERMAN@VERIZON.NET and I will drop a preview copy of my book "ORION" in the mail.  Orion is an adventure story about a boy who leaves his small farm in Kansas City and sets off across the galaxy in search of his missing parents.  A bit of Harry Potter mixed with Star Wars.   If you have or know kids who enjoy this genre, please don't hesitate to contact me.  Or if you yourself enjoy quality, wholesome childrens' adventure stories, please feel free to request a copy.  My only request in return is that if you read the book and enjoy it, please post a (positive!) review on Amazon.com, where it is currently on sale.  Again, please contact me at MDBERMAN@VERIZON.NET, include your shipping address, and I will send you this free young adult adventure book, 192 pages, professionally published, in paperback.  Thanks and hope to hear from you.

Re: Good books for a 9 year old boy.

Hi,

I don't know if it would be appropriate to plug my new Ya e-book from Virtualtales.com. It is a children's fantasy called, Challenge of the Red Unicorn. My talented daughter made the cover art. I tried this story out on my grandchildren and they loved it.

The story is about a young Irish boy who is kidnapped and taken through the strange Warke tunnel to Elgin. As he is the only boy in all the lands with the power to save Chalice the red unicorn he must travel into the dangerous forests with the general of the elves and his Leuitenant. They must face weers, wolf-like beasts and other monsters and then Eoin must face Rashark, leader of the Weers and save Chalice. A rip roaring adventure I'm sure your son would love. The story would be suitable for 8 to 12 year olds.

I have recently finished a screenplay on the story.

Thank you.

Jack

Leapfrog by Steve Hendry

[ Edited ]

Hi Folks,

My name is Steve Hendry, aka Train, and I've authored a book for you sci-fi, adventure, and action readers. I should warn you though, it borders on horror. Here's the blurb:

Leapfrog

When the newest and most expensive starship, Leapfrog,  unsuccessfully completes its mission for an intergalactic knowledge exchange with technologically superior aliens, it encounters a random meteor shower while returning to earth.  These meteorites damage the primary pulse rockets which drastically alters the ship's ETA.  Instead of waking from cryo-sleep in the planned hundred and fifty years, the surviving crew discovers that over ten thousand years have elapsed, and the earth is no longer the same.  A DNA and nuclear holocaust has triggered a de-evolution among all mankind, rendering the remaining humans soulless primates.  The surviving crew attempts to re-colonize earth among raving psychopaths only to discover that a new ultra-evolved creature now predominates and ruthlessly rules the top of the food chain.

Thanks for your consideration, and I'd appreciate your reviews.

Re: Good books for a 9 year old boy.

Hello,

I am a mother of an 8 year old boy.  While trying to develop his love for literature I put together a site to help spur his interest in writing.  The site allows him to journal his fun activities and connects with family that is far away.

Like many other authors, I’m hoping that eventually his journal may turn into a biography.  Right now he’s writing about characters for a video game and the interesting attributes they might possess.  He’s already begun to build the scenery to set the stage for the game.

It’s fun.  Especially once his grandparents and aunt get to review his literature and comment or send him messages.
