Hi

I just found this page, before I could not figure out how people find other users.  I

am still so confused about how to put other people's avatar pictures on my page.  I do just what it says-click on their name and click 'add to favorites'--except that comes up with adding the site to my favorites list.

Anyone know how to navigate this?  Are there other places besides the message boards to find other avatars pages etc?  I am lost, and frankly it seems to require lots of time to find my way again--If anyone can help--I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Storrmy

Hi Stormy,

In addition to these messageboards, another way to find other people on My B&N is by reading the customer reviews for the books and other products here on B&N.com (and by writing some yourself) - and you can also look at a product's page and see whether other people have added a given book or DVD to their favorites list, or added to an EssentiaList - you can see this by looking at the menus on the right hand side of a page.

In order to add someone else's profile to your selection of "favorte profiles" simply click on the "Add to Favorites" link directly above that person's library.

Jon

Also, what's wrong with this guy?  He seems pretty nice:

He's OLD.  And he looks sort of mean to me.  No thanks!

Yes this guy doesn't look argumentative, opinionated, I mean the kind of man that likes to have in-depth discussions

Re: Show off your My B&N profile!

I just gotta say . . . I'm loving it and addicted.  I love sharing books, DVD's, and music with others.  The ability to add local store events on to your page is great too.  A lot of the stores have great events going on such as local authors, and this just keeps it all in one spot.

I also like the new ability to link to titles in posts with pop-out window when you hover over the link in a post.

I'm so addicted! It's quite like the Visual Bookshelf app on Facebook, which I also love...
