Re: Sign in, Reply Issues

OMG,  I've been trying for days and days because I just bought a Nook, and I'm finally in.  I tried to get in from IE, Chrome, and my iPhone. Nothing worked.  Now I'm in. I have no idea what/if I've done anything differently.

Yes, same here.  For the last 8 hours I have been unable to get in.  I wish they would put up a twitter notice or something if they are manually shutting it off and on.

Wish it were manual (it's not). We've yet to fully diagnose the problem. Again, sorry for the frustration.

IS THIS THE END OF "FIRST LOOK" OR JUST THE END OF MY INVOLVEMENT? Is there anyway we can be notified when all is well again. It just seems so unfair to the authors.

This morning I tried to log in to the boards since  5 am, nothing worked again. I tried just a minute ago and it worked! I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth, but I had to download Google Chrome just to be able to log in because neither IE7 or Mozilla Firefox would work. I am grateful to be here, so I will quit complaining now.

hi- Just wanted to let you know that I have had difficulty logging in (as in I was unable to do so on 2 separate computers for 3 days)... however, happily, I just tried again and obviously am now logged on! :smileyhappy:

Re: Sign in, Reply Issues

Well, I've had a heck of a time trying to get signed into this place. First I could do it from the info terminals at my store but not from home; yesterday it was the exact opposite. I'm now on the computer at the public library where I am also employed, and fortunately the cookies on that one still remembered me. I sure hope they're able to get this straightened out soon... what a pain in the butt this has all been!

LOL Becke.  It took me so long to sign in this morning to see what y'all were up to that I ran a bath in the meanwhile!  If B&N can be credited with anything during this six month debacle then it is with teaching patience to a fair number of people and that, after all, is a virtue. I am pleased I found pastures new and hope that you are all well.
