I also use it all the time since I like to download the files to my PC.
I found it hard to delete a couple of issues for a newspaper but besides that its very well organize.
If I could make a recommendation it would be to add a link directly to My nook library on the homepage so going to the My account > account settings wont be necessary so I more direct link on the homepage would be nice!
Thank you!

N1E user here.
How often do you use MyNOOK.com?
Rarely. I use it to archive e-books, because it seems that I have to archive both on NOOK for PC and on MyNOOK before the e-book is truly archived. If I sync NOOK for PC after archiving on only one side, the e-book gets unarchived. I've recently archived one title four times and it won't stay archived.
I also use it (vary rarely) to delete content, mainly samples. That doesn't happen much any more, since I've learned that I can go to Google Books and read samples online without going through the "purchase-download-read on device or app-delete online-sync device or app" process.
Do you find it easy to locate? Navigate?
Once you learn to look for it in the top bar (not a particularly eye-catching spot), it's easy enough to find.
Needing to login separately is a nuisance. We now have forum login, account login, e-book-buying login, and MyNOOK login. All have the same username and password, but logging in to one doesn't mean you're logged into another. On the other hand, it appears that logging out of one logs you out of everything.
Since all I use is the Library, there's yet another extra click to take me there. Back in the day, we could go straight to our NOOK library from the My B&N drop-down (which no longer exists). Now we have to click My NOOK, click log in, fill in our login details and click Submit, and click Go To Library.
Are there any features that you would like to see changed? Added?
I'd like to be able to organize my library. Sorting by author, title, or purchase date isn't sufficient.
I'd like to have the library organization sync with the shelves on my N1E. I also want to be a billionaire. I know which of those is more likely to happen.
If you don't use the My NOOK portal, why don't you?
There's really nothing there of interest to me. I just need to be able to manage my e-book collection.

I don't use it. I've looked at it a few times and haven't seen any functionality that looks necessary.
If it included the ability to download and manipulate notes and highlights from my library, that would be a big plus for me. However, I would want that to include sideloaded material, not just B&N purchases. I don't really expect that ever to be supported.

Oh.. The managing of the shelves WOULD be good.. Not sure how you add on anything sideloaded. Or if we could have 2 shelving and just need to still shelf the sideloaded books through the nook.
#1.. They are saved even if you have to reset or change devices.
#2.. The PC program can have easier shortcuts..
Also, would like to see what I paid for the book.. I buy some books, and throw down alot of free ones.. Since I am a slow reader (or not much time in a day to read) by the time I get done with a book, I have forgotten which ones I paid for which are ones I would like to read first, while leaving the free ones to gather for lapses when I have not purchased a book.

I PM'd this to Sam back in September, but I'll (mostly) reproduce it here, with some additional thoughts.
1) If you click the My NOOK link, it tends to forget or not see that you're already logged into your account and presents the My NOOK login.
2) Landing page is clean and easy to navigate. Doesn't always present the best recommendations. (See more details below.)
3) My Library:
- Sample and LendMe banners are nice and prominent
- Needs filters for Samples and LendMe books
- Like the layout options, but should be able to save a personal preference.
- A way to filter/segregate active subscriptions from inactive ones. I get that, for marketing, you want my inactive ones there to tempt me to resubscribe, but…
- "You Might Also Like" with the "See more" has nice functionality, even if the recommendations could use some refinement. (Again, see below.)
- More of a publisher issue than an interface issue per se, but it continues to annoy that many titles (if you sort by title) have improperly tagged metadata and sort under "A" or "The". Unfortunately, this includes some B&N Classic Series titles.
4) Friends: Don't use this function as yet.
- No apparent way to add/edit data, such as name displayed and image, to About Me. Do I need to link this to my other accounts and will it then feed over from there?, e.g. image will match my Facebook profile image.
5) Manage My NOOK:
- Nice, easy to use access.
- The landing page for Managing Payment Settings needs to be redesigned to include registering gift cards to the account; it only has credit cards. Yes, this is on another account info page, but users want fewer clicks
6) No easy access to pre-existing e-book wishlist. N1E wishlists sync to online account. No visibility of device-specific wishlists from later generation devices.
7) Recommendations
- Like both the specific and general (Bookseller Picks, Trending, Top 100)
- Seems to give suggestions to random titles, with some preference to recent purchases. At least weight it toward most commonly purchased genres/authors, if not encompassing the refinements below.
- Maybe add an ability to customize the general feeds. So, if I'm not interested in the defaults, I can get things I am interested in, say PubIt Books, NOOK Book Deals, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Travel, etc. I'd limit it to the existing layout, so having the bottom 2 slots be user choice would work.
- Develop more sophisticated logic for the recommendations; right now it seems to be a very basic you-bought/others-who-bought-this-bought association. It should be able to take multiple purchase variables into account, including B&N non-ebook purchases and items on existing wishlists. (Maybe controls for users to opt-in/opt-out what account info is considered. Some people have privacy issues.)
- Additional refinements:
- The ability to turn off recommendations based on free titles.
- Being able to see recommendations based on a specific title from the Recommendations page and not just the My Library page
- Being able to self-select multi-variable based recommendations (up to a certain limited number); so, I tell it I like title A & B and it returns a list based on that
- The ability to add one filter to specific search returns (such as I want all recommendations to be LendMe titles, or PubIt titles, or from a specific publisher.)
- A feedback process that helps build data about what recommendations are appropriate. I hate to point to a competitor, because their solution may not always be the best solution, but Amazon does have an eerie amount of accuracy if you spend the time to "fix" their recommendations—tell them you already own it, aren't interested, etc. You do allow a star rating from the interface (which I hope influences recommendations), but no way to say "pass" or "already got it."
- Recommendations should replicate, as much as possible, that seemingly magical ability experienced booksellers possess to take often vague requirements about preferences and turn it into a list of common and not so common titles that will fit my taste.
8) This is less about My NOOK and more about the total device experience, but related to recommendations and shopping. I appreciate the one-stop shop of the bn.com interface. I can get my NOOK titles, regular books, DVDs, CDs, etc. Make this content searchable and shoppable from the device as well. The default should be content for the NOOK; but when titles aren't available as ebooks, give us the ability to order the DTB and send it to our default shipping address. The same goes for any other item (with the exception of used/collectible) that is available on bn.com. Just make it very, VERY clear at purchase confirmation what is going on. (As in: "WARNING: You are about to order physical product that will ship to your account's default shipping address. <list that address> Do you wish to proceed?") Also, it would be handy to be able to (as you can on bn.com) check if an item is in a nearby store and place it on hold. One of the pluses, in my book, of the NOOK is the online – store synergy. Take even more advantage of that.
About the only thing I would add to that is shelf management/syncing and adding prominent links to the Nook sections of the B&N Community. So many people (newbies especially) seem to have trouble finding these boards.

Just saw it after reading your post. Never noticed it before now.

What can I do at MyNOOK.com that I can't do from my Nook Tablet?

Not sure what I might use it for.

I tried several times to post a reply: Each time I would receive the following message in red text:
"Your message has been changed because an invalid or malformed HTML tag or attribute was found. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied. The following tags (and attributes) are allowed: hr, tr, div(align|class), img(title|height|alt|align|width|src|border), td, br, center, strike, li-spoiler, ol, li-video(external|align|width|originalheight|pid|c
I did not insert any HTML tags, so I have no idea what this means. Is the system working correctly today?
