I know this may be a rather odd and limited choice of a post but I was watching The Bat, which stars Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead, and it occured to me that growing up I love almost every horror movie he starred in.

My favorites were The Abomindable Dr. Phibes were he uses the Ten Plagues of Egypt for his inspiration, Dr. Phibes Rises Again, Theatre of Blood were he kills critics using scenes from Shakespearean plays, the classic House on Haunted Hill, and of course House of Wax.

Thanks my only consolation to the loss of Juicy Fruit was my discovery of the actual fruit it was patterned after. Ever tried Jack fruit?

Anytime you run across a Asian food store. Get a can of Jack fruit in syrup, lightly rince it off, and prepare for a pleasently mindblowing experiance. Excellent stuff.

You know I used to like gum, up until about 5 year ago. You see I'm allergic to artificial sweeteners (reactions from vomiting blood to stomach cramps). And gum manufacturers either have gone completely towards sugarless gum, or supplement gum with them. In tiny tiny print notifications too. I had quite a few nasty reactions before I figured this out. So now I just don't find on the market gum I can chew. (sigh) I miss Juicy Fruit.

I'm a little annoyed that I can't find my favorite gum anymore.  For some reason Orbit's Mint Mojito is missing in action around Wichita now.
