Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: What book are you reading? 2009 edition

Fundamentals of Statistics  I had to put this here because frankly, this book has absorbed my life for the last three months and has prevented me from reading the"fun" stuff. This is as good as a place as any to put it.

Re: What book are you reading? 2009 editionDaddy's Little spy - Isabella

Daddy's Little Spy - Isabella isbn 9781844264728 is an amazing story of Isabella's struggle to survive during world war two when her mother becomes a witch (worships a pagan religion Wicca which is illegal during wartime in england - punishment imprisonment)

Based on authors childhood it sounds too fantastic to be true -but truth is genuinely stranger than fiction

I've just been on eternalradioonline.com giving testimony to the power of prayer -as Isabella throughout her life with abusive parents.(book covers first eighteen years and there is a family secret hinted at but not disclosed) prays to her Guardian Angel Feebee (Phoebe who lives in heaven)

The response to my interview was great.

I read and knit and dance. Compulsively feel yarn. Consume books. Darn tights. Drink too much caffiene. All that good stuff.

Re: What book are you reading? 2009 edition

I just finished American Legends by William L Bauer.  It was absolutely amazing!!  It's his debut novel (came

out in September) and I highly recommend it if you like a good mystery!  You gotta check it out!!!
