When you remodel your home to make a "reading room", buy a very large bookcase and have it filled the day it arrives, and still continue to buy books with no place to put them.

When your spouse says you didn't buy more books..... and you sheepishly smile and go hide them!

That was absolutely hilarious!!!  I carry books in my car and purse.  I also leave one or two at work.

when the sales people at barnes and noble say that we see you here so often you should rent a room

when the sales people at the bookstore know what book you are reading

when one of the main reasons you are going like an hour or so to a flea market is to see there books

I have done that many times! 

You know you're addicted to books when the employees at the three closest B&N stores know you by name and greet you when you walk in and stop to chat when they see you in the store.

You know you're addicted to books when you walk into B&N and buy a NOOK and 4 hardcovers at the same time.

You know you're addicted to books when owning a NOOK has done nothing to slow your paper book purchasing, though you are buying an ebook or two a week, borrowing ebooks from your library, and downloading free ebooks.

I have issues.  LOL
