Congratulations are in order to all the Edgar Allan Poe Award nominees announced this morning by the Mystery Writers of America (on the 200th anniversary of Edgar's birth!). But I particularly want to congratulate our own Christa Faust, whose Hard Case Crime novel MONEY SHOT was among the nominees for Best Paperback Original.
Hat's off, Christa -- and we'll be pulling for you!

I second that congratulations! Money Shot is a must read. Will we ever see the alluring, but oh so dangerous, Angel Dare again, Charles?
Here's a link to the other Edgar Award nominees.

You know, we might. Christa mentioned that she was working on another book about Angel -- though when the book might be finished, I couldn't say. And of course when it is, I'm guessing she'll have any number of major publishers (ones with deeper pockets than ours!) lining up to buy it. So it may not be a Hard Case Crime book when it comes out...but it should eventually come out.
