Hey folks its been a while since I posted. Thanks to Charles' advice I have been reading all the Scudder novels in order and it's been great.. But I will write about that when I am all done.
I took a break from Scudder to read this month's HCC novel Fake ID. I have to say that Jason Starr has written yet another winner for HCC. The protagonist Tommy Russo is so slimey that by the end of the book you wish him nothing but the worst (Much like you feel for THE MAXX). The story is told from his perspective and moves along at a great pace.Tommy is a degenerate gambler that destroys his life with hopes of owning his own race horse The only bad thing I may have to say is that it is too short. I wanted to see some hardship fall upon Tommy. I look forward to reading Jason's next book coming out in the fall!
