I reading Robert A Caro's series on Lyndon johnson. I am finishing Vlume II of this series Means of Ascent. I think this books is more of a thriller than a stale biography. He focuses on the 1948 election between Coke Robert Stevenson and LBJ for United States Senator. Really enjoyed this one.

   Next is Volume III in The Years of Lyndon Baines Johnson Master of the Senate .
