Have you been reading aloud?

I was wondering -- as we've been reading poetry, have you been reading aloud?  Generally, when I read poetry, I try to read it aloud, as I get a better sense of its power.  It's especially nice when I can get hold of a decent reading of the poetry by a professional, but even then I sometimes read the material aloud.

When I teach my class in Greek myth, I generally have students read about 100 lines or so from the Iliad or Odyssey so that they (and the class) get a sense of the power of the words when received aurally.
