I've never read a Star Trek book before so I'm curious. When I finish what I'm currently reading, I have the first Titan book queued up on my Nook.

Before you read the titan series you should read articles of the federation .
Plus are you going to read any of the next geration books or deep space nine or voyager
Books . If so all current relaunch material are aviable on the nook.
Do you read any of the star trek comics?

They also have expanded the J.J. ABRHAM'S star trek line as well some

No comics, just a fan of the most of the tv and movie stuff. I didn't like the Abrams movie though. TNG is my favorite which is why I was going to go with Titan. Seemed new but not too far off what I liked. I'll take a look at what else is out there. Thanks.

I'm a huge fans of all the series, I have also read books from all of then including Star Trek New Frontier about the Starship Excalibur. The original series have great books that would blow your mind and wish that they would have been done in the series. The same with all the others but this series The New Frontier wow it's like so star trek philosophy and so not. I guess you would have to read it to understand. True I haven't read a Star Trek book in a while but I will again specially now that I have you to fall back for all the new stuff.

Hey thank you for the heads up, I do love Star Trek marathons. My dream is to go to the Vegas Star Trek convention, there's one in New Jersey which is closer to me, but Las Vegas that alone said it all. When I went to Universal Studio in Florida they used to do a video of your trip to the park or a Star Trek video guess which one I did..........ok I guess you know it was so much fun they dress me up as a vulcan. I even when to the Museum of Natural History when they have on display Star Trek sets from the original series and I got to sit in the Captain's chair and to stand on the transporter plataform.Well keep me post it on any thing new. Thanks.

I am a Trek fan - but mostly the olders books. I was thrilled when Uhura's Song made it to Nook, that is one of my all time favorite novels- up there with Gone With the Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird, and anything by James Herriot
It's one of my guilty pleasures. Love Strangers from the Sky, Enterprise, and Time for Yesterday.

I absolutely love Uhura's Song it was an amazing book and Time for Yesterday nice to know that that Spock have a son somewhere in time, but there's another book I don't remember the title exactly Yesterday's Son it was just as great plus The Vulcan Academy Murders it's consider a very hard book to find and in Vulcan's Heart Spock is in love. What about The Captain's Daughter; Sulu's story about his daughter death.

I've read those too - and the IDIC epidemic. Uhura's Song is still my fave though.

Are you reading them from beginning or just picking what you like best, there's a couple that I have read that would just leave you wishing that they would have turn them into TV episodes.

I read all of the series, but the original series and Voyager were my first choices. Although I really like all of Peter David's writing - I even have a signed copy of Imzadi.
