Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Kristen Britain is an excellent author. I dislike hardcover books and don't want to switch to ebook format mid-series, so I'll probably end up waiting for MMPB release. So I guess the answer is, I'm apparently not as excited because I can in fact wait. But I'm still delighted to see the series moving forward, and will probably be picking it up the first week it's available in paperback.

This could very well be one of the Big fantasy releases of the year – my concern is that readers have waited soooooooo long (four years). Do you think some of the excitement is gone?

For a while some of my excitement was gone but knowing that its coming out in 1 day has gotten my excitement back up. I loved  this series. I especially loved the characters. But i also believe that she should write faster... It kills me to wait four years for a book

Re: Blackveil by kristin britain

I thought I had lost the excitement because it took so long for this book to be released, but realized as soon as it was that I am just as thrilled as I was the first time I read Green Rider over ten years ago.  I'm reading Green Rider now because I have to read the first three again since I waited so long for this one.  I don't think I'll be able to enjoy it properly otherwise.  And I'm always happy to read a beloved series again.  :smileyhappy:

I bought it in hardcover but didn't get to it because of school work and other books I had to finish.  I'm going to FL on Tuesday for two weeks and knew I would want to read it before I got back, so I ordered all four books in ebook last night.
