The Hunger Games no longer Lend Me's??

When I purchased all 3 of the hunger game books they were marked as Lend Me's.  Even if I search "Top Lend Me Books" all 3 books show up.  but in my library they Lend Me tag is gone and I cannot lend them.  Anyone else have this issue or know why this happened?

The Lend Me ability is a separate program and not something that is locked in at time of purchase, or considered to be part of what you are purchasing.

The publisher decides whether a certain title is lendable, and participation in the program can end at any time for any title.

Not surprisingly, as the movie approaches, these have been pulled from the program.

It kind of sucks, but you have to remember the reverse could also happen. (Though I can't site an example.) A publisher could decide to make a title that was not previously lendable part of LendMe. And even though it wasn't when you purchased it, you would then have the ability to lend that book.

Kinda hard to wrap your head around it the first time, but the LendMe program really is something separate from the ebook purchase.

I totally understand that the rights for lend me books can come and go.  My beef is that when I look up Lend Me books the hunger games are listed.  If they are listed there to be lend mes, they should show up in my library as lend mes.

That is odd. Mine is showing the LendMe banner in My NOOK library.

Any chance you already lent it to someone? There is a limit of 1 loan per title. (You probably know this, but it's the only thing I can think of.)

Ya know I wasnt aware of lend per title.  I thought it was one lend per friend on the book, not one lend period.  Thats kinda lame!  LOL  thanks for helping me out!  I'm not so bitter anymore!  Well, a little still, but I'll get over it.  My sister will just have to get the book from the library or buy it herself.  This is where hardcopy books still come in handy.  those can be lended out over and over again!
