That's a great find Mac and I never had realized Mary Norton was the same as Andre Norton. I loved the gadgetry and inventiveness of the Borrowers. This was one of the few times I thought a telemovie (the old one with Eddie Albert) really captured the essence of a book well; I hope the new one does as well.

When she started writing SF, women writers weren't exactly welcomed, so she chose Andre as a pen name.
You're right about the Eddie Albert version. I thought it captured the spirit pretty well. I'll be interested to see the new version, since it's from the same studio that did Howl's Moving Castle .
