Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: V Remake on ABC! (Series Premiere Tuesday November 3rd 8/7c)

I watched the recap too. It was a nice reminder for the new shows coming next week.

I am looking forward to this show.

Okay, V will be back on the tv starting Tuesday March 30, 2010 !!

We will have to work together to remind each other in time to watch.

Just wanted to bring this around again as a reminder.  I am watching the recap episode right now to get caught back up to start next week.

The Return of 'V' on ABC

So what did everybody think of the first new episode of 'V' this spring?

I'll be honest: I really want to like this show and I still think that it has a lot of promise, but I just haven't felt any momentum in this show yet. I'm certainly not expecting it to be the new Lost, but I just don't feel completely invested yet.

I'll give it a few more weeks though.

I'm feeling the same way about the series. Every once in a while there is a glimmer of promise that keeps me watching, waiting.

Re: The Return of 'V' on ABC

I'm excited the show is adding Jane Badler, Diana on the original show, playing Anna's mother.  Her name is still going to be Diana.  Since I loved her on the first version, I'm thinking she's going to add that little extra to this one.
