Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: What are you currently reading?

Currently rereading the Green Sky Trilogy by Zilpha Keatley Snyder.  I have hardback copies that I was able to purchse used.  But when I found out the that trilogy was being released last year on e-reader, I pre-ordered them and have started reading again.  Haven't done much reading lately, but get me involved in a good novel/book and I'm hard pressed to put it back down.

Re: What are you currently reading?

I just started this one for the weekend.  It started right in with the aliens, and they look like....Do you want to know? They're kinda cute at this point. I'm wondering if that's going to change.  But the people who made eye contact with the durriken are determined to do anything to get that glimpse back, the feel and emotions they experienced.  It's going quick for me.

Re: What are you currently reading?

I started this book this weekend.  I kind of feel like I've read it a long time ago, as certain scenes are very familiar.  Thank you to Baen for their promotional CDs.

Re: What are you currently reading?

I feel this books is definitely fantasy.  It's got elements of steampunk and clockworks to it along with fantasy elements too.  I'm actually enjoying it and the couple, they are refreshing.

Re: What are you currently reading?

I just finished this book by Stephen King. Part of the Dark Tower series.

This book has Roland telling the group 2 stories from his youth.

It is a short book for King. I really liked the style of Roland being the story teller.

Isaac's Universe Vol. 1: The Diplomacy Guild. book covers047.jpg

I read this and Vol. 2: Phases in Chaos over twenty years ago and don't really remember any of the specifics, just the broad strokes and that I enjoyed the stories.  I recently found a copy of Vol. 3: Unnatural Diplomacy, so I figured I would re-read the first two volumes again.

Very funny! I've always been here – just been a little quiet of late (my father recently passed and I'm attempting to handle the probate of his estate... fun!) But I will definitely post an in-depth review of this book. Promise!   :smileyhappy:
