Morning, Hump day has arrived and tomorrow my baby girl turns 32, I don't know how i just birthed her it seems like yesterday
Here's our thought for the day

we can bear a hardship today.”

here's our Thursday thought
“If you pick up a starving dog
and make him prosperous,
he will not bite you.
That is the principal difference
between dogs and men.”

Did my good deed for spring yesterday. Dug up and rescued 3 old Peonie plants at a demolition site where we are tearing down an old trailer to build a new Habitat House.
They are now residing in the front yard at the Lodge. I think I may be a happy camper. ---- provided they survive the move. BTW, we will be also rescuing and moving a huge quince and lilac bush(s) before the backhoe levels the yard.....my yard is getting happier by the moment.

Just a little something for those suffering from a bad case of spring fever
Watching Grass Grow
It isn't every day that you can sit still and listen to the grass grow
It isn't every day that you can stare at the sky and watch the wind blow
But when life hands you one of those days, don't ask why
Just check out and wait for the small things to come by
A basket with food and wine and a blanket to spread
A place beside a brook on which to make your bed
An old cane pole with a bent rusty hook that will work
To sling over your shoulder and walk down the road with a smirk
After all, it's your day to live, a day to be free
To lean against the willow and just let yourself be
Tomorrow will come with its troubles and cares
When you have to go back knowing all of life will be there.
But for today, it's all gone, today you're a kid
Today you can once again do whatever you once did.

Good morning Happy Friday
here's our Friday thought
“The lectures you deliver
may be wise and true,
But I’d rather get my lessons
by observing what you do.
I may not understand
the high advise you like to give,
But there’s no misunderstanding
how you act and how you live.”
Edgar Guest
(1881-1959)

Very quiet on the board this am, you can almost hear a
drop
here's our Sunday thought
“It is wrong always,
everywhere, and for everyone,
to believe anything
upon insufficient evidence.”
William James
(1842-1910)
